Beginning Friday, September 22, GodThoughtsWired! will be on sabbatical while I recover from back surgery. Rather than provide pre-prepared entries, I am led to remain silent for those 2-3 weeks and ask you to join with me in radical, spiritual warefare prayers for the GodThoughts Ministry. I am INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL that GodThoughtsWired! reaches thousands daily around the world and, yet, I am certain that God desires to multiply His voice and influence through GodThoughts FAR MORE SIGNIFICANTLY than He is doing now. We need a larger team! We need more prayer warriors! We need more Partners! We need more of you to ACTIVELY participate! Please take the time of this sabbatical to prayerfully consider your active involvement in the GodThoughts Ministry.

"The Kingdom of God is Like..."
The Boss's To-do List
"If you abide in Me, and My word abides in you,
ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you."
John 15:7
It's just like a boss who gives you his "to-do" list every morning. This list represents all that he wants done on any given day. The beauty of it, is that he will provide the means and resources for you to accomplish EVERYTHING on the list. Whatever you ask of him in regard to the list, he will answer. Not only will he answer, he will provide EVERYTHING NECESSARY for you to successfully accomplish all tasks on the list.
Therefore, the key to a successful experience on the job is to become intimately familiar with everything on the list, for it represents all that the boss desires (And, by the way, the boss has promised that a committment to HIS list will result in the fulfillment of YOUR heart -quite a deal!). As long as you know what's on the list, and stick to it, you can't help but become MARVELOUSLY SUCCESSFUL! The only way problems can, AND WILL arise, is if you don't familiarize yourself with the daily list. Or, worse yet, develop your own "to-do" list and deludedly think that somehow your boss is going to provide for YOUR LIST!
It's HIS company, and he's the only one who knows what's best for HIS company. Therefore, it's HIS list alone that has ANY relevance. YOU CAN'T LOSE!, as long as you stick with HIS list.
Such is the kingdom of God as it applies to prayer (see also Matthew 21:22; 1 John 5:14-15).
He who has ears to hear...let him hear.
*Oh, how I long for the Church to return to the place of prominence, power and influence that God desires. It is absolutely possible, but it will only happen through the effective prayer of godly individuals. Do you know how to pray effectively? Does God's power and authority flow from your lips daily? Is God's kingdom significantly furthered through your faithful and powerful prayers every single day?
