CONCLUSION Indeed, as Casey from Oklahoma rightly stated, sarcasm is a biblically legitimate form of communication when bringing reproof and correction to today's false gospels. Here is my favorite sarcastic statement from God Himself: "Is there any God besides Me,
or is there any other Rock?
I know of none.’”"-Isaiah 44:8 Oh, that's HILARIOUS! isn't it? The omniscent, all-knowing God asking the rhetorical, ridiculously sarcastic question, "Is there any other God besides Me"...I'm not aware of any! Oh, that just cracks me up! I LOVE IT!!! As for my favorite "sarcastic Bible character," I'm in agreement with Tim from Michigan: "So Elijah said to the prophets of Baal,
'Choose one ox for yourselves and prepare
it first for you are many, and call on the name of your god...and they prepared it and called on the name of Baal from morning until noon saying,
“O Baal, answer us.' But there was no voice
and no one answered...It came about at noon,
that Elijah mocked them and said,
'Call out with a loud voice, for he is a god;
either he is occupied or gone aside, or is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and needs to be awakened.'...but there was no voice, no one answered, and no one paid attention."
