One nation, under...judgement!

Ultimately, when their time came, they were led into war against the country now known as Iraq. It would be a precursor to their final judgement.
The problem however, was that the answer to their dilemma didn't lie in military might or power. Apart
from returning to the God of their forefathers their would be no
safety, but they wouldn't realize it...until it was too late.
Ever
since the first attack, a shadow loomed over their country like a dark
cloud. But several years had passed now, and all had returned to the
"new normal." Indeed, the warning had been given, but far from
repentance, only defiant arrogance marked their response. And they plunged deeper and deeper into their apostasy.
Of course, I'm recounting the history of ancient Israel...
