An Inspiration for Today...A Resource for a Lifetime!

easier said than done!

"And while being reviled,
He did not revile in return;
while suffering, He uttered no threats,
but kept entrusting Himself
to Him who judges righteously."1 Peter 2:23
Practically, I find it to be the hardest principle of all.  "Bless those who curse you..." (Romans 12:14).  The Hallmark of Christianity is love and yet, to truly love as Jesus loves is to never,

"Take into account a wrong suffered."1 Corinthians 13:5

Easier said than done, wouldn't you agree?  It demands the humbling choice to walk by the Spirit and not carry out the desires of the flesh (see Galatians 5:16).

Our invisible enemies literally HATE! this kind of love (see Ephesians 6:10-12).  Why?  Because it BEATS THEM!  IT OVERCOMES THEM.  "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21). 

-It enables God to take what the enemy has meant for evil and turn it around, and work it together for good.

-It enables God to take what the enemy means for harm, and use it to heal.

-It enables God to take what the enemy intends to curse, and turn the curse...into a blessing! (see Nehemiah 13:2).

"If possible, so far as it depends on you,
be at peace with all men."Romans 12:18
