CONCLUSION

"Righteousness exalts a nation,

On December 25-26, 2006, just days before his inauguration into the House of Representatives, the Detroit Free Press reported the following quotes from Ellison:

"You got to have faith in Allah, and you've got to

stand up and be a real Muslim...If we believe in Allah,

subhanahu wa ta' ala, if we turn to the Qur'an for guidance,

we'll find an answer to the questions we have."

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution declares that Congress shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise of religion, yet the God and religion that Ellison swore allegiance to warns the exact opposite,

""Whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him."

Throughout U.S. history, this country's presidents have identified us, over and over again, as a "Christian nation."  Indeed, much of the U.S. Contstitution and founding documents reveal the profound influence that the Bible has had upon the foundations of this country.  However, the events of January 4, 2007 expose the reality that the United States is Christian no longer.

The Qur'an, the book upon which Ellison has sworn his allegiance, says the following about Christians (Christians are referred to as "infidels" in the Qur'an - "Infidels are those who declare: "God is the Christ, the son of Mary" - Sura 5:17).  "Infidels are those that say 'God is one of three in a Trinity" (Sura 5:73).

-The infidels are your sworn enemies (Sura 4:101).

-Make war on the infidels who dwell around you...When you meet the infidel in the battlefield, strike off their heads...Mohammed is Allah's apostle.  Those who follow him are ruthless to the infidels...make war on the infidels (Sura 9:123; 47:4; 48:29; 66:9).

-Believers, take neither the Jews nor the Christians for your friends...Never be a helper to the disbelievers...Kill the disbelievers wherever we find them" (Sura 5:51; 28:26; 2:191).

-Fight those who believe not in Allah (Sura 9:29).

We have willingly elected into one of the most powerful and influential positions in the entire country, a man who has sworn rejection and defiance to the only true and living God.  A man who is committed to living a lifestyle of known, willful, rebellion against the God of the Bible.  "You shall have no other gods before Me" (Exodus 20:3).  A man who, if he is committed to the actual practice of his beliefs, is dedicated to "fighting" me, and everyone else in the United States who does not believe in Allah (see above).

Of January 4, 2007, the Bible says,

"A day of wrath is that day, a day of trouble

and distress, a day of destruction and desolation,

a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds

and thick darkness."

Zephaniah 1:15

And we will be judged.
