"The Consequences of Rejecting the Truth"
"These are things I think I see in society-
the nature of being gay is that you are forced
to challenge the general perception, otherwise
you have to accept that something is wrong with you."
George Michaels, Bay Area News Group, Timeout, D3, June 19, 2008
Indeed, life is a choice. The choice to go your own way, do your own thing, live your own life according to your own rules...or submit to the will and ways of God, as described in His word. Isn't it amazing that we always wind up dealing with the same root question,
(click on above, for an in-depth study)
The answers to all of life's other important questions will be determined by what you believe about the Bible. It says of itself, "All scripture is inspired by God..." (2 Timothy 3:16). Literally, "God-breathed." The Bible claims to be the spoken word of God. "No prophecy of scripture was ever given by an act of the human will, but men moved by the Spirit spoken from God" (2 Peter 1:20). It says, "The law of the Lord is perfect" (Psalm 19:7), and claims to be "profitable" for EVERYTHING! (see 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
If you believe the Bible to be what it says it is, the word of God, then you have access to the answers to EVERY SINGLE ONE of life's most important questions. If however, you do not accept the Bible to be the inerrant word of God, you have refused the one thing that can make you free (see John 8:32,36).
Those who reject the Truth are forever destined to remain in their bondage.
