"Radically Significant!"

PART II

PROMISE #2

"And as for you, you meant evil against me,

but God meant it for good in order to bring

about this present result, to preserve many people alive."

Genesis 50:20

And I also see three things of vital importance here:

1.  God has the AMAZING capacity to turn a curse into a blessing (see Nehemiah 13:2).

2.  God uses "evil."  I'm afraid that I'm limited in my own capacities to fully comprehend this, nonetheless, it's clearly true.  "The Lord has made everything for its own purpose, even the wicked for the day of evil" (Proverbs 16:4).

3.  In light of #2, we must be very careful in our evaluations and judgments of whether a situation or circumstance is good or bad.  We must leave room for our initial assessments to change in light of ultimate conclusions.

What a MIGHTY GOD we serve!  A Savior!  A Restorer!  A Redeemer!  A deliverer!  A Healer!  A God who can CAUSE all things to work together for good...A God who can take "evil" and bring about HIS purposes and plans through it.

A MIGHT GOD.  Indeed!
