KNOWLEDGE OF THE BIBLE IS OUR ONLY HOPE, yet, tragically, all over the world God's people are being deceived and deluded by the lack of knowledge of God's word (see Hosea 4:6). As a result, "doctrines of demons" (see 1 Timothy 4:1) are "creeping" into the body of Christ at an alarming rate of recent increase (see Jude 3-4).
Of course, this should come as no surprise for God told us ahead of time that this would happen:
"Certain persons have crept in (into the church) unnoticed...
In the last days some will fall away from the faith...
Wanting to have their ears tickled...will turn away
their ears from the truth and turn aside to myths."
Jude 3; I Timothy 4:1; 2 Timothy 4:3-4

"There is a way which seems right to a man but the end is the way of death" (Proverbs 16:25). "There is a way which seems right to a man." THERE IS A WAY WHICH SEEMS RIGHT...BUT IT'S NOT! Beware popular opinion! Beware the majority! Beware your own heart! (see Jeremiah 17:9; Proverbs 28:26). Beware the "angel of light!" (see 1 Corinthians 11:14).
ALL THINGS must be examined in light of the scripture. There is a way which seems right, but we can't be sure it's right until we have confirmation from God's word.
