"Destined For Deception?"
INTRODUCTION

"His divine power has granted to us
everything pertaining to life and godliness."
2 Peter 1:3

The true follower of Christ knows, and much of the modern church has forgotten, that the initial answer to all questions must begin with, "The Bible says..."  Indeed, all disciples of Jesus know that the question that must preceed all other questions is, "What does the Bible say?"  Thus, the HUGE challenge before us in this age of deception and delusion is to prioritize the knowledge of the word of God in our lives.  Is there anything more important than the knowledge of the word of God?

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF LIFE?

This has been a pretty popular question as of late, hasn't it?  Well, despite popular opinion, the Bible says, Human beings are created for ONE purpose, to glorify God"Whether then you eat or drink or whatever you do, do ALL to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31, bold & caps mine).

"Everyone who is called by My name...
Whom I
(God) have created for My glory."
Isaiah 43:7

Do you see it?  The Bible teaches that all of us are created for ONE purpose:  THE GLORY OF GOD.  And the "fulfillment of the desires of our hearts" (see Psalm 37:4), and the "abundant life" (see John 10:10), and the "prosperity of the soul" (see Psalm 25:13) are ALL realized as we learn how to GLORIFY GOD in our lives.

Part 1, tommorrow.
