The Greatest of All!

The Greatest of All! Brad Reiches Apr 22 2008 10:52AM Tuesday, April 22, 2008 GodThoughts Wired!        "The Greatest of All" "Love...does not take into account a wrong suffered." 1 Corinthians 13:5 The Bible calls it the greatest attribute of all! (see 1 Corinthians 13:13).  The kind of love that does not take into account a wrong suffered.  God modeled this kind of love for us when He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins (see John 1:29; 3:16).  And He continues to model it by offering ongoing forgiveness to everyone who confesses their sin an repents (see 1 John 1:6-9).*  In a way, that's what forgiveness is.  A willingness to put others ahead of ourselves. In asking us to forgive others, God is simply inviting us to share that which we also have received.  To give what we have been given.  All of us have needed forgiveness at one time or another...ALL of us (see Psalm 14:1-3; Romans 3:10, 23). Can you imagine a world filled with this kind of love?  I think it's called...heaven.  :)
