"Precious & Magnificent"*

"No good thing does He withhold

from those who walk uprightly."

Psalm 84:11

God ALWAYS gives His best...to those who leave the choice(s) up to Him.  What an astoundingly comprehensive promise - "No good thing." 

"Delight yourself in the Lord

and He will give you the desires of your heart."

Psalm 37:4

Many are familiar with this classic promise from scripture, however, only a fraction of those who know it...live it.  Why?  Most pursue what they BELIEVE to be their heart's desire unaware that, "A man's way is not in himself; nor is it in a man who walks to direct his steps" (Jeremiah 10:23).  The fulfillment of the desires of our hearts are only realized by trusting in the Lord rather than our own understanding (see Psalm 3:5).

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord

and whose trust IS the Lord."

Jeremiah 17:7 (caps mine)

Indeed!
