"An Investment Opportunity"

"He (God) is intimate with the upright."

Proverbs 3:32

The more we love God, the more we will want to spend time with Him.  And the more we spend time with Him, the deeper our love will grow.  Do you see it?  It's kind of an upward spiral.  Love for God is a result of time spent with God.

"The upright will dwell in Your (God's) presence."

Psalm 140:13

Of course, the reverse is true.  The majority have little or no relationship with Jesus because He is not a priority.  A relationship requires an investment.  The investment of time.  Our depth of intimacy with God has little to do with desire.  Most of us desire a deeper relationship with our Heavenly Father.  Rather, our walk with God is determined by choice.  Our relationship with God is that which we choose.

"Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord.
And who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart..."

Psalm 24:3-4

"The Lord is with you when you are with Him.  And if you seek Him, He will let you find Him, but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you" (2 Chronicles 15:2). 

Pretty straightforward...isn't it?
