GodThoughts Wired! 

"The Bible"

PART 2

The second of the nine essential components that give us a complete definition of the Bible is: 

2.  Human Agency (through men).

"Men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God."

2 Peter 1:21b

God spoke, men wrote.  "The things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets..." (see Acts 3:18).  Quoting from Part 1, "The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, otherwise known as the "canon," were written by men under the Divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit" (see 2 Peter 1:20-21). 

"As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from of old."

Luke 1:70

"He gave some as...prophets..." (see Ephesians 4:11-13).  A "prophet" is a "spokesman for God."  God gifts certain individuals prophetically for "The equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ" (see Ephesians 4:11-13).

And, PRAISE THE LORD!...that included the creation of the Bible.
