"A Loving Reminder"

"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you,
ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you."
John 15:7

How's your prayer life?  "All things asked in prayer believing, you shall receive" (Matthew 21:22).  How much time, approximately, did you spend in prayer yesterday?  The day before?  The day before that?

"And this is the confidence which we have before Him,
that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us,
and if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask,
we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him."
John 5:14-15

How much time have you set aside for prayer today?

Is it fair to say that prayer may very well be one of the most significant things you can do today?  One of the most significant investments you can make?

It's a scary thought, isn't it, that our lack of prayer exposes...our...what?  Lack of faith?  Lack of belief?  Lack of understanding as to the significance of prayer?  Or a lack of awareness as to prayer’s power?  Or, a simple need to re-prioritize the place of prayer in our lives?

Well, wherever you’re at today in reference to prayer, here's a great place to start.  Just six words...but one of the best prayers, if not THE BEST I've ever learned:

"I do believe:
help my unbelief."
Mark 9:24

In Jesus name, amen.

You know how one of the names for the devil is, "the thief?"  I think the single biggest thing "the thief" attempts to steal from us is...

You guessed it.  J
