"You hit a home-run today, pastor Brad."         -John Diestler, Lafayette, California
"That's it!  That's it!  Preach that message every Sunday and we'll have to get a bigger church!    -Bill Roth, Moraga, California
"Pastor Brad, I pray that the whole world will get hold of that message!"    -Patty Roth, Moraga, California
"You were on fire today, man."    -Kevin Ryan, San Ramon, California

"These were just a few of the comments that I received a few weeks ago after preaching the message entitled, The Truth About Grace.  It may have been the most annointed message I have ever had the privilege to give.  It literally felt at times like I was taking dictation from God."    Pastor Brad

Most preachers fall into one of two extreme categories.  They are either big on "truth" and often found to be "legalistic."  Or they are big on "grace" and leave out 90% of the whole gospel.  But the Bible says, "Grace AND truth were realized through Jesus Christ" (John 1:17, bold mine).

Please order your FREE copy of The Truth About Grace (simply send me an e-mail with "Grace & Truth" in the subject box, along with your snail mail address).  All I ask is that after you listen to it, you are obedient to the Holy Spirit's leading in how He would use you to best to support this ministry.

"External Evidences of the Abundant Life"
Part 2

"I (Jesus) came that they might have life
and might have it abundantly.."
John 10:10

The External Evidence of the Abundant Life.

4.  SATISFACTION.  For me, one of the most important verses in all of scripture is Genesis 25:8, "And Abraham died an old man...and satisfied with life."  Are you satisfied with life?  I am.  If I were to die today I would declare the same satisfaction as Abraham did.  Why?  Because the "abundant life" includes "all good things."  "No good thing does God withhold from those who walk uprightly" (Psalm 84:11).  Indeed, the "prosperity of the soul" is profoundly satifying.

"All who hunger and thirst
for righteousnesswill be satisfied."
Matthew 5:6

5.  FULFILLMENT.  Even more significant to me than Abraham's dying words was the final description of Job's life.  After all that man had been through the scripture declares, "And Job died an old man and full of day" (Job 42:17).  This term "full of days" means "fully fulfilled or super satisfied."  Indeed, the promises of God to all who would put their trust in Him include the fulfillment of the "desires of your heart," (see Psalm 37:4) and a life of "well-being."  In my opinion, the most glorious statement in the entire world is made by Jesus at the end of His life and ministry.  Of His life He said,

"I glorified You on the earth,
having accomplished the work You gave Me to do."
John 17:4

This statement exemplifies a life lived to the fullest.  A life available to all who would choose it.
