A GodThoughts Classic!

"Consider the ICEBERG"

"Do not turn to the right nor to the left..."
Proverbs 4: 27

In times past, the sailing ships of the Antarctic waters carried awe-inspired sailors peering out at the  great icebergs.  Towering high above of the sea, the perplexing reality of these majestic monoliths was that they were moving AGAINST the wind and surface tides

In light of their own absolute dependence on the wind to drive them, the sailors were keenly aware, and utterly baffled, at the mis-directed movement of these giant blocks of ice.  It wasn't until much later that students of the sea learned of the great currents that traversed the ocean depths.  It was these titanic currents that propelled the massive icebergs forward.

Icebergs, both past and present, have their roots-approximately 90% of their bulk-firmly entrenched in the unseen currents below.  Regardless of the surface winds and tides, the icebergs move steadily along...wherever the current leads them.  Here's a GodThought:

Whatever you see on the outside...is just the tip of the iceberg.
-see Luke 16: 10-11

"As a result,
we are no longer to be children,
tossed here and there by waves,
and carried about by every wind..."
Ephesians 4: 14

He who has an ear...let him hear.
